Eka hasta urdvha dhanurasana...?
I got a picture of my new favorite yoga pose, one which I just learned about last week. Yay! It looks as cool as it feels! I present... the ankle-grabbing backbend.
<strong>

</strong>
For the record, grabbing the ankle is relatively easy for me. Lifting one hand off the ground in the first place was much more difficult to learn; it's far scarier than lifting one leg. Last week was just "oh yeah -- the ankle is within reach from here too, how spicy!" And today is mostly "wow, that vein in my arm surely makes me a vampire's dream victim". :)
We also took a picture of my one-legged crow pose -- my bad side, as it happens, which is probably why my foot is a bit blurred. Still, I love any version of this posture.
